A country’s real achievement is getting all its citizens educated. An educated society will have less inequality and is less poor. With education, there will be equal job opportunities; one can earn a higher income, and lead a decent living. Yet, we see many in our society struggling to educate their children. The primary reason is a lack of financial ability to provide education.
Understanding the need for education, Dr. Tarannum Memorial Trust has been funding the educational needs of poor and needy children since its inception. Currently, we can support the educational needs of 20 students per year. But, we are getting more requests for education support. Our beneficiaries are predominantly children of single parents, low-income group parents, jobless parents, and children from disadvantaged communities. .
If you are interested in supporting the educational needs of a poor child, please contact us.
Marriages are made in heaven, they say.
They may not be made in heaven, but marriage surely brings a lot of hope for a bride. Whether it gets fulfilled or not depends on Karma.
The wedding day holds a special place for the bride. It is the day every bride wants to appear as a princess. Yet, not all girls are fortunate to fulfil their wedding dreams.
At Tarannum, we make the dreams come true for many brides. We want the bride to marry her prince charming wearing the expensive silk saris. We make sure that the Panigrahnam happens while wearing a silk sari. Tarannum sources the silk saris directly from the weavers. We give it to the bride and bless her with loads of happiness in her marital life.
We cannot do it alone without the support of donors. If you are interested in doing Vastra Dhanam and supporting a poor bride’s wedding, we are here to help you. Your generosity will not go waste. We will find genuine beneficiaries for marriage support and spend your money transparently.

Dr. Tarannum Memorial Trust has been in charity since its founding days. We give groceries and other essentials to orphanages, old age homes, and people who have lost their jobs due to pandemic/endemic situations and cannot support their families. We also distribute free sanitary napkins to girls at orphanages.
Our per month expense for one old age home with 25 inmates comes to Rs. 25000/- and at present we are sponsoring 2 old age homes . The per year cost is Rs. 6,00,000.00/-
We welcome anyone willing to do charity and support our cause. Our volunteer team will distribute the essentials directly to the beneficiaries for transparent and accountable service delivery.

Health and wealth are two things that can drastically alter a person’s life. In our country, the majority of the people had to spend out of their pockets to get good medical care. But, rising costs and financial circumstances make healthcare unaffordable for many in the country.
At Dr. Tarannum Memorial Trust, we provide medical treatment support for the poor and the needy.
Without good health, no one can achieve their full potential. By lending a helping hand to people in distress, you can gain immense satisfaction by reducing someone’s pain or giving life to someone’s dream. Please follow us for information on people with medical needs and support us in funding their treatment costs.
Dr. Tarannum Memorial Trust believes in upholding the heritage of the country. Vedas are one of the most sacred teachings of India. We believe spreading the importance of Vedas and making them thrive in this current technological world is God’s mission for us.
As a campaign, we support Veda Paatashaalas, which teaches Vedas to kids. Through our campaign, we provide financial support to these schools so that they can provide good food and shelter to the kids and carry out day-to-day activities without any hiccups.
Our regular sponsorship is for vedapaatashala at Kumbakonam, Tiruvannamalai and Tanjore.
"To feed a hungry is not a charity, but a duty.”
Many go to temples not to seek wealth, health, babies, etc., but to satiate their hunger.
Why does every place of worship prepare food in huge quantities?
The motive is to feed the beloveds of the deity. A small portion of the food prepared is offered as neivadiyam/Bhog for the presiding deity of the temple. Another portion is distributed to devotees in the form of Prasad. And a huge portion is distributed as Annadhanamwhere a sea of people come in just to live their day and has no idea if they will get their second meal in the night or sleep hungry.
We at Tarannum Memorial aim to provide at least rice to temples across Tamil Nadu as a token of love with an aspiration of not letting anyone go hungry.
So, if you are in a blessed position to give today, try giving by donating to our cause and witness the magic of receiving in abundance in your life.
The standard of living lies in giving!
